Purav is a senior in Biology with a Business Foundations Certificate from Euless, Texas. Along with being the president of Texas Men of Excellence, Purav is a part of Texas Pre-Dental Organization, Mentor for Texas Interdisciplinary Program and a Biostatistics Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. In his down time, Purav loves spending his time outdoors, cooking and watching & playing sports. Wisdom resonates most with Purav because he strives to learn from his experience and share it with others. If Purav could give any advice to first and second year students, he would tell them to put themselves out there and get involved in many things as possible. Purav plans attending Dental school after graduation and purse a DDS.
Mehul is a junior in Computer Science and Plan II from Irving, Texas. After graduation, Mehul has his eyes set on becoming a software engineer. In his free time, Mehul is a part of Texas Code Orange which is an organization that aims to tackle the issue of Digital Divide here in Austin through mentorship and
computer science education for children. Out of three pillars, Mentorship resonates with him the most because that once we receive knowledge we should also pay it forward and help spread that knowledge to others. His advice for new students is to find someone on campus and just talk to them because that is all it takes. You will probably see Mehul zooming past you on campus on his Razor Scooter.

Sai is a junior double major in MIS and Math from Frisco, Texas. Besides Texas Men of Excellence, Sai is a part of the Student Conduct Board. Sai believes in Mentorship because he loves to share the things that he has learned so others can be helped from his experiences. Sai recommends to get out of your comfort zone and to cultivate friendships by spending time with others because good things come to those who wait.
Director of New Members
Josh is a third year as Math Major pursuing a Computing Certificate from Frisco, Texas. After graduation, he hopes to get a career in data science. Josh is involved in his student minister AACM and serves as a small group leader. Mentorship is important to Josh because he has had great mentors in his life and learned a great deal from them. Josh would recommend first and second year students not to wish for things to happens and make them happen instead. Josh can be found playing his guitar or listening to John Mayer, sometimes both at the same time.
Director of Recruitment
Sam is a junior from Richardson, Texas pursuing a BS in Mathematics with a Certificate in Elements of Computing. After graduation, he hopes to become a data analyst, proud dog owner and stay involved in his community through service. Leadership resonates with Sam because he believes in leading by example. Along with Texas Men of Excellence, he is a part of Absolute Texas and Programmers for Science and Engineering. In his down time, Sam loves to code, hike, shoot some bball outside of the school and sing out of tune (he wish he could sing well). Most importantly, Sam wants first and second year students not to stress about what other's are doing becasue everyone has a different journey.
Director of Finances
Shailen is junior in Computer Science from San Ramon, California. Wisdom resonates most with Shailen because he strives to find wisdom so that he can pass it on to the people around him. In addition to being a member of Texas Men of Excellence, he is apart of MAD, Mobile App Development, (not the emotion, Shailen is a kind soul). For fun Shailen hikes and plays sports. Shailen encourages first and second to go to events that they would not usually go to, so they can meet interesting people on the forty acres.

Evin is a third year from Mesquite, Texas. Evin hopes to one day to open his small business to serve others in some facet. Along with being a member of Texas Men of Excellence, he is a part of the University Leadership Network and Project Males. Evin has a passion for cinematography, photography, comedy and everything and anything Chance the Rapper. Evin believes wisdom is the cornerstone of being a leader and mentor because without it leadership is faulty and mentorship will not be fruitful. He wants first and second year students to dance like nobody is watching; live your life without the burden of worrying about what other's think.
